Express course vs. waiting for the exam — FAQ
How long does the express driving course take?
The practical part (30 hours of driving) takes 15 days on the intensive course or 21 days on the accelerated course. You can do the theory beforehand or in parallel — online in English, at your own pace.
Will I have my licence after 15 days?
No. 15 or 21 days is the training time at the driving school. After the course and the internal exam you book the state exam at WORD. Its date depends on free slots at the exam centre and is not included in the course time — the driving school has no influence on WORD dates.
How long is the wait for the WORD exam in Warsaw?
It depends on how busy the WORD centres (Bemowo and Odlewnicza) are at the time. You choose the date yourself at WORD or via info-kierowca.pl, and it is worth checking for released slots.
What do I need before starting?
A PKK number (Driver Candidate Profile) from your district office — we cannot start lessons without it. Apply as early as possible, as issuing it can take time. A medical certificate is required for the application.
How many hours a day will I drive?
To fit 30 hours, you drive about 2 hours a day on the intensive course and about 1.5 hours a day on the accelerated course. Lessons run 7 days a week, 6:00–22:00.
Can I start right away?
The daily schedule is arranged individually with your instructor, so call us or send the form first — we will confirm the earliest possible start date.
