Yes. You can start a Category B course three months before your 18th birthday and complete the theory and most driving lessons in that time. Minors need written parental consent when applying for the PKK number. Since 2026 Polish law also allows taking the exam at 17 and driving with a supervisor for the first six months — confirm the current rules with us or the district office.

It is a short check-up with a doctor authorised to examine drivers — many clinics in Warsaw accept walk-ins. The visit takes about 15–20 minutes, covers eyesight and general health questions, and costs around 200–250 PLN. You receive the certificate immediately and submit it to the district office when applying for your PKK.

Nothing serious — you can retake the WORD exam as many times as needed, and your course does not expire. You only pay the WORD fee again: 56.98 PLN for theory and 229.99 PLN for the Category B practical exam (rates from 1 January 2026). Most students book extra lessons (180 PLN per hour) beforehand, and the instructor analyses the failed attempt with you to prepare for the next one.

No car of your own is needed. You can take the practical exam in the WORD centre's car or rent our training car for 290 PLN — the exact vehicle you practised in, so the pedals, mirrors and size feel familiar at the manoeuvring yard and on the exam route.

The first lesson takes place on a quiet training yard or calm streets, away from city traffic. The instructor shows you how to adjust the seat and mirrors, explains the controls, and you practise starting the engine, moving off, stopping and slow-speed driving. You only enter real traffic once you feel ready — the pace is always matched to you.

Yes — our main offer is the Polish Category B course with Polish-language theory and instructors. The Polish version of the site is at lauto.pl (use the PL switch in the menu), and family members can enrol in Polish while you learn in English at the same school.

Almost certainly yes. We pick students up across the whole of Warsaw — not only Wola, Śródmieście, Bemowo, Żoliborz and Bielany, but also Mokotów, Ochota, Praga, Ursynów and the remaining districts. Yes. If a friend recommended an instructor or you simply clicked with one after the first lesson, we will assign you to them permanently — one instructor who knows your progress gives better results. If schedules clash, we help find a solution, for example a different lesson time or car (manual or automatic).
