Driving exam preparation in Warsaw
Both state exams — theory and practical — can be taken in English. Here is exactly what to expect and how we prepare you for each of them.
Theory exam
- 01
Study the official question base in English
The WORD theory test uses a fixed pool of official questions. Our online platform gives you the same questions in English, with explanations and unlimited mock tests.
- 02
Know the exam format
32 questions: 20 basic (single answer, yes/no) and 12 specialist. You need 68 of 74 points to pass, and each question is shown only once — there is no going back.
- 03
Watch the video questions
Basic questions include short clips you can watch only once after 20 seconds of reading time. Practising clips beforehand is what most candidates underestimate.
- 04
Book the test
The state theory exam costs 60 PLN and can be booked at any time at a WORD centre in English.
Practical exam
- 01
Manoeuvring area
The exam starts with a vehicle check, starting on a hill and reverse parking or a three-point turn on the WORD manoeuvring area.
- 02
City traffic
You then drive real Warsaw routes around the WORD centre — junctions, roundabouts, tram crossings, lane changes and parking.
- 03
Practise the real exam routes
We train on the roads used by the Bemowo and Odlewnicza examination centres, so nothing on exam day is new to you.
- 04
Choose your exam car
WORD centres only provide manual cars. You can rent our school car for 290 PLN and take the test in the vehicle you already know.
