Theory costs 50 PLN, the practical exam 250 PLN, and booking runs through Info-Car or in person. We explain the whole procedure and how to avoid waiting weeks for a slot.

Booking the state exam is a separate procedure from enrolling on a course — you do it yourself, once your school completes your training. Here are the current fees and a proven way through the booking without surprises.

How much the WORD exam costs

  • Category B theory exam — 50 PLN (English available, no surcharge)
  • Category B practical exam — 250 PLN
  • every retake costs the same as the first attempt
  • school car for exam day — 290 PLN (optional; required when testing on an automatic)

What you need before booking

  • your PKK number — the system will not accept a registration without it
  • a completed course and passed internal exams (for the practical)
  • an Info-Car account or a visit to the exam centre
  • the exam fee — pay online or on site

How to book step by step

Go to Info-Car, choose the Mazowieckie region and your centre — Warsaw has Bemowo (Powstańców Śląskich 127A) and Odlewnicza 8. Log in with your PKK number, pick the exam type and a date from the calendar, pay and save the confirmation. You can also book in person at the centre's office with your passport or ID.

How to shorten the wait

In Warsaw the practical exam usually means several weeks of waiting. What works: a written acceleration request at the centre (with a real justification and readiness for any date), checking Info-Car in the morning when slots free up, and flexibility about which centre you choose.

Cancelling and rescheduling

You can cancel or move the exam without losing the fee no later than 2 working days before the date — via Info-Car or in person. Not showing up without cancelling means the fee is forfeited and you book again.
