Which WORD centre to choose in Warsaw — Bemowo or Odlewnicza?

WORD is the state examination centre — the only place where the official Category B theory and practical exams are taken. Warsaw has one WORD with two branches: the headquarters at ul. Odlewnicza 8 and the branch in Bemowo at ul. Powstańców Śląskich 127A. The old Radarowa centre is permanently closed. You can choose freely between the two when you book.

Odlewnicza — advantages

• The widest availability in the city: Monday to Thursday 6:00–22:00, Friday and Saturday 7:00–15:00
• All licence categories — motorcycle, Category B, bus, truck and trailers
• Slightly higher Category B pass rate (around 35% on the practical exam)
• Better Google rating: 3.8/5 from about 1,600 reviews

Odlewnicza — drawbacks

• Located in Białołęka: after the metro you still need a few tram stops, and there is little around to eat
• Examiners have a reputation for being stricter — this is the head office
• A harder exam area, with a busy expressway section and 8–10 demanding junctions

Bemowo — advantages

• Closer to the centre, with a shopping mall right across the street
• Examiners are considered friendlier, which lowers exam stress
• An easier exam area: about 20 junctions, but calmer ones, and roughly 90% of routes follow two variants you can practise during the course

Bemowo — drawbacks

• Shorter hours: Monday to Saturday 7:00–15:00
• Slightly lower pass rate (around 33% on the practical exam)
• Google rating 3.4/5 from about 625 reviews
• Only categories A and B

So which one?

Odlewnicza wins on hours, categories and statistics; Bemowo wins on location, atmosphere and an easier route area. The difference is small — what really decides the result is preparation and driving the exam area with an instructor beforehand. We train in both areas and will book the centre that suits you.
