A missing ID is the only mistake you cannot fix on the spot — the exam is forfeited. Here is the complete exam-day checklist, from documents to shoes.
Exam day is often more stressful than the driving itself, and most problems can be eliminated with a simple preparation list. Save it and tick items off the evening before your slot.
Documents and formalities
- a valid photo ID — passport or ID card (without it the exam is forfeited)
- payment confirmation — useful if anything is unclear in the system
- glasses or contact lenses if they are noted as a restriction in your PKK
- 17-year-olds: sort the supervisor's consent and details beforehand, not on exam day
Clothing and equipment
- flat, thin-soled shoes — you feel the pedals like during lessons
- comfortable clothes you practised in — exam day is not for experiments
- phone and smartwatch stay in a locker — using one means disqualification
- water and a light snack, especially for afternoon slots
Day logistics
- arrive 15–20 minutes early — registration and identity checks take a moment
- check the route the day before: Bemowo (Powstańców Śląskich 127A) and Odlewnicza 8 are on opposite ends of the city
- pick a slot early in the day — the last hours can feel rushed
- sleep properly; tiredness costs more errors than one skipped lesson
At the theory exam
- read every question to the end — you have a full 50 seconds on specialist questions
- answers cannot be changed, so do not click under pressure
- you get the result immediately after the test
At the practical exam
- rehearse the bonnet check and cockpit setup in your head
- when reversing, turn and look through the rear window
- didn't understand an instruction? Ask for a repeat — it is not an error
- one mistake is not the end of the exam — keep driving calmly
Warm up before the slot
Many of our students book 1–2 refresher hours a few days before the exam — on the route, in the car they will test in. Book practice (180 PLN/h) or the exam-day car (290 PLN) through the contact form.
