The best apps for learning the Polish theory test

14 September 2026 · 5 min read

A good app cuts weeks off theory preparation. Here is what to check before paying, and how the most popular Polish apps compare.

The Polish theory exam draws from one official question base published by the Ministry of Infrastructure, and the state exam uses exactly those questions. Any decent app simply licenses that base — the difference lies in explanations, lectures, language versions and price.

What to check before you pay

  • Does the app use the official, up-to-date ministry question base?
  • Are there recorded or live lectures, not only test questions?
  • Does every question come with an explanation of why the answer is correct?
  • Is there an English version — several apps charge slightly more for it
  • What exactly does the price cover, and for how many days?
  • What rating does it have in Google Play, and what do users complain about?

Apps worth knowing

  • Testy na prawo jazdy 360 — full official base, lecturer-led lessons, filtering by saved or failed questions; packages from about 23 PLN for 5 days to roughly 40 PLN for longer access
  • ZdamyTo — live and recorded lectures, e-books and animations; 39 PLN for 90 days or 79 PLN for 180 days with printed books
  • IMAGE Prawo jazdy — study, exam, hard-questions and junctions modules with statistics; 14.99 PLN for 7 days up to 37 PLN for 120 days; rated 4.8/5
  • Prawko.pl — daily live lectures with chat at 18:00, all archived; 79 PLN for 21 days, 119 PLN for 45 days, 199 PLN for 90 days
  • Testy. Portal nauki jazdy — explanations shown after a wrong answer; 12–20 PLN depending on access length
  • Testy na prawo jazdy / E-testy — cheap, basic question drills with hints, from 8 PLN for a single day

If you are taking the exam in English

The official theory exam is available in English at WORD, and the question wording differs from the Polish original. Choose an app with an English mode and practise in English only — switching languages the week before the exam is the most common avoidable mistake.

Our students get guided theory preparation in English alongside the app, so the questions are explained in the same language they will see at WORD.
